Should you wear your hair up or down?

Just as there are many styles of clothes for every occasion, you can also find the ideal hairstyle to look amazing for every moment. But the main question is: What makes you feel the most comfortable? Are you the girl who loves to wear her hair down or the opposite, preferring it pulled up into elaborated hairstyle? Whether you prefer the classic look of all of your hair pulled up and away from your face or long straight hair that is cleanly cut or whatever is your favorite hairstyle, you are going to love some of these options for your hair.

Straight, loose hair–then use your flat iron horizontally to form wavy curls. If you want to give it an extra boost of volume, place the flat iron as close as possible to your roots, before forming curls. If you don’t want to damage your hair by using a high source of heat, then braid your hair into several small braids before going to bed, and in the morning remove the braids to have naturally curly hair.

Still not convinced? Looking for a sexier look, then try making a wet look and heads will turn. How can you do this? Easy, all you have to do is apply a generous amount of gel and use a fine-combed brush to evenly distribute the gel throughout your hair. But remember to only apply this technique to dry hair or only slightly humid hair.

If you can’t decide, then maybe you are one of the women who loves having their long flowing hair but at the same time, enjoys the ease of puling her hair up and away from her face. This half up, half down hairstyle can easily be done by dividing your hair into two pieces, normally part together and the lower part together. Comb the upper part into a high ponytail. Apply a generous amount of gel to help prevent some strands of hair from escaping, tie up with a soft rubber brand. Now give the leftover air some extra bounce by adding some mousse or gel, and using a combing in back. You could even just straighten it for a more sophisticated look.

Last but not least, don’t forget that there is a look that looks smashing on all occasions and that is a bun. It can easily be adapted by simple styling tweaks to make it suitable for any type of event. For day-to-day use, brush your hair up into a high ponytail, roll it under and hold the hair down with bobby pins. If you are looking for a more formal look, you can add a hairpiece as a filler, and fold your hair around it.
