So here are some pictures of my new hair.. I have to say.. the lightness after the hairdresser snipped my pony tail was amazing. I can finally brush my hair without enduring agonizing pain from both my scalp and arm muscles from trying to detangle the crazy knots.

These photos were taken in the industrial part of Wollongong at Port Kembla.. This blazer was an impulse buy, as is with a lot of things in my wardrobe. But the shape of the blazer perfectly elongates my body.. makes me look that little bit taller which is never a bad thing =)

Stolen Girlfriends Club Dress and poncho, Alexander Wang bag, aldo boots

I impulse bought this SGC poncho a while ago and have never found the time to actually wear it out surprisingly.. it sits rather nicely and I'm not quite sure why I haven't used it more.. it may be because various things always get lost in the blackhole that is my closet..

So exams are looming.. which means I may not have as much time to blog as I would like.. but I will definately try my best to blog as often as possible.

I've never really thought of orange as being my colour but when I saw this dress I just fell in love with the shape and colour and convinced myself that every girl needs at least ONE orange piece in her wardrobe.. no matter how much she doesn't suit it.

As for the other pieces.. the sweater was a new find from vintage stores in Newtown.. fell in love with the softness and warmth. It originally came with a crazy load of beading however I picked them all out.. and let me tell you.. it was not an easy feat.

Had an amazing few weeks and I hope everyone else has too! xx

Day 2: Wine Country

Beginning the recap of Day 2 in Australia's wine country.. Breakfast of pancakes and fresh banana bread kept us going for a good 80% of the day. And no.. I was not the chef.. that privilege was given to Matt. I possess no skills what-so-ever when it comes to anything in the kitchen.

We set out on a big day of wine tasting at around 11am.. found a local market place on the way and stopped to check it out for little trinkets.. and then beginning with Pooles Rock we started the wine tours, followed by Brokenwood, Audrey Wilkinson and Peppertree.

As you can see the day has been fairly well documented. Went home with reds and dessert wines. We finished the day off by stopping by a train track in Neathe for some photos before stopping off at Woolies for some additional groceries we had forgotten. Our dinner theme for day 2 was Australian.. which involved a BBQ..followed by a close to 4 hour spa session (and boy were we cooked by the end of it).

You may wonder why we dressed so formally for wine tasting but we agreed on trying to find "sophisticated" outfits whilst not looking too over the top.. which I think worked quite well.. I managed to fish out an old favourite of mine.. an Alice Mccall cruise 08 piece..
